This hearty soup is full of flavor with smoked sausage, potatoes, tomatoes, green beans and plenty of herbs. It would be great with a slice of crusty French bread. (164 cal, 1.4 g fat, 4.1 g fiber for 1 1/2 cups)

Absolutely addicting moist chocolate cake. A 9″ layer cake is $8.00 and a 9 x 12 sheet is $20.00. This would be a fantastic finish to the hearty Peasant Soup.

Menu: Week of Thanksgiving

I hope you guys are ready for a great Thanksgiving! You will find a few items that might make your week a bit easier. Please have your orders to me no later than noon on Sunday. Everything will be ready for pickup on Wednesday afternoon, however, the Taco Soup will be ready Tuesday. If you need a different time of pick up please do not hesitate to ask, we can definitely try to accommodate your needs.

Entrees

Taco Soup (available for pick up Tuesday afternoon)
This dish is perfect for keeping warm and we sure need that. It is loaded with corn, ground beef, beans, and tomatoes and served with cheese and tortilla chips.

Thanksgiving Sides

Pecan Sweet Potato Bake  ($12.00, serves 6 to 8)
This is a creamy, crunchy sweet potato souffle.

Creamy Mashed Potatoes ($15.00, serves 10)
I made these mashed potatoes for the very first time last Thanksgiving and they quickly became my go to potato. They are creamy and buttery and best of all can be made ahead of time and taste absolutely fantastic when you actually serve them. All you will need to do is pop them in the oven for about 30 minutes prior to serving.

Spiced Cranberry Sauce ($9.00 for 16 oz.)
A wonderful fragrant and sweet cranberry sauce.

Breakfast

Mixed Muffin Basket ($10.00 per doz.)
Enjoy this assortment of breakfast muffins before you head out for your Christmas shopping. (3 blueberry, 3 double chocolate, 3 lemon poppy-seed, and 3 cinnamon.)

Sausage Rolls ($5.00 per 1/2 doz)
Tasty smoked sausage encased in a flaky biscuit makes a wonderful start to a morning. These would be great Thanksgiving morning. (plain, cheese or jalapeno available)

This succulent chicken is prepared and ready for you to bake fresh in your oven. It is juicy chicken breasts layered with ham, fresh spinach and a wonderful garlic-Alfredo sauce. It is a wonderful way to enjoy baked chicken.

Happy November! I hope you guys are enjoying this beautiful weather.

  • Pick-up/Delivery is Wednesday. I just wanted to remind you guys that our new delivery day is Wednesday.
  • Also there is a slight price increase. Entrees that serve six will be $25, entrees for three will be $12.50; $9.00 for a six-serving side dish, $4.50 for three servings; and desserts are priced individually.
  • This week I need your orders no later than Friday at noon, however, I plan on getting the future menus out much earlier in the week with an earlier due date as well.

This is a fragrant soup with black beans, sausage and cilantro. These cheese quesadillas hit the spot when dipped into your soup. This is a pumped-up version of grilled cheese and tomato soup. (1 cup = 3 WW pts, quesadillas not rated)

Menu: Week of October 30th

Hey Everyone, I am sorry to be getting the menu out so late. The days just got away from me and it was Thursday night before I realized it. Since the menu is going out so late I am extending the ordering to Saturday at noon.

We found out last week that baby #3 is due March 12, 2012 and they say it is a ‘he.’ That means my big boy will have a little boy to teach stuff to, and my little girl will have a big brother and a little brother to boss around. What could be more perfect?

New pickup/delivery day from now on will be Wednesdays. I am hoping this will accommodate any scheduling conflicts that may arise. This year has been the busiest I’ve had in a long time! I also need to accommodate prenatal visits that I will be partaking in for the next few months. We are expecting baby #3 in March.

These oven fried chicken breasts are coated with Panko bread crumbs and have just a hint of an extra kick. However, if you would prefer to not have a kick, I can exchange the Cajun seasoning with a ranch seasoning. Just let me know. (ww pts – 4)

Creamy Buttered Mashed Potatoes
These mashed potatoes have become a family favorite. What I love most is that these potatoes are finished off in the oven and they are so creamy and buttery.

Mini Pink Lemonade Tarts (4 for $5, the proceeds from this week’s desserts will go to Breast Cancer Research.)
